Why did Pakistan take initiative to be a mediator for  cease fire of the war. Obviously, Pakistan is in total quandary  because ofvtwo reasons.  A good number of shia community is living in Pakistan. It is their need to end the war as there is already uprising of Shias in Pakisthan against America. It is their political interest to ensure a ceasefire before the situationis going out of control  in their soil.They cannot annoy America and Saudi for the sake of Iran because of their commitments to these two countries. With the denial of Iran for not having any negotiation with Pakusthan for a ceasefire  urging America that it could be done only on their(Iran)
terms it emerged to be a stupid mediation of Pakisthan. India has no such interests to be either on one side  if the warring countries. So, India maintains an equi distance from these warring countries.
